Nationality: Spanish
Location: St Cattwg's Church, Port Eynon
One of the more intriguing Gower shipwreck artefacts can be found located in the Norman doorway of St Cattwg's Church in Port Eynon. The only information I have been able to gather is from the label attached to the stoup which states:
"This stoup was originally intended for holy water and is thought to have been given to the Church by a Spanish sea-captain rescued from a shipwreck off the south Gower coast"
